Gathering opened at 4:00 pm
Attendees: Nancylou Stiles, Janet Jones, Woody Woodward, Joanne Morse, Virginia “Jinx” Staples, Karen Hawkins
Minutes from Feb 10, 07 gathering were read and approved
Treasurer’s Report – $87.23

* Elections: Corresponding secretary: Jinx, Treasurer: Woody
* Secure Town Hall for event was voted on and approved: Woody will reserve building.
* Remainder of Election Agenda tabled

New Business
* Motion made and approved to require all vendors to be approved by the CCC committee
* Please send Janet suggestions of all countries/cultures to invite and contact to represent each one
* Application for a Hamm Foundation Grant in the amount of $2000 is in the process – they requested a Layleader of the Bridgton United Methodist Church sign the application because the CCC is under their 501c3 status
* Participant invitation letter was edited
* Suggestion to invite participants to attend our monthly meetings
* Suggested press release is sent to local newspapers inviting interested cultural groups to contact Janet
* Friday night – dinner held at BUMC followed by dance at Town Hall. A tentative event layout was drawn by Woody.
* need to develop a contract for vendors and will be developed at next meeting.
