Board of Directors meeting minutes
November 10, 2008

Meeting opened at 9:05 am by George Bradt (President) at Bridgton Library in the downstairs conference room.
Attendance: George Bradt, Alan Crabtree, Dona Forke, Karen Hawkins
Absent: Joanne Morse, Charles Renneker
Attending CCC event interested members: Mody Botros (Coordinator)

*George brought sample letters (to send to potential donors/sponsors/Rotary clubs) for review, everyone added their input, George took suggestions to rewrite the letters, Alan did a great rewrite job of suggestions
*Mody asked about advertising in the Bridgton News paper, discussion followed, George offered to get Mody a rate card, later it was decided Mody would go to the paper’s office today
*decision made to change name from Gatherings to Planning Meetings
*we need to make a list of what volunteers can help with
*decision to invite Chamber members to the party in December
*George offered to look into 2 possible grants from anonymous donors

Next meeting Nov 24 at 9:30 am at the Bridgton Library in the downstairs conference room. Upcoming meetings are scheduled for Dec 1 & Dec 12, 2008
